When you sign a building contract for your new home with Rossdale, we guarantee that the price we quote will be absolute and final.  You can rest assured that we will not charge extra for any ‘unforseen’ items.  In fact, only you can change the price.

Rossdale Homes is still the only builder in South Australia to offer you an absolute fixed price guarantee.  So, to ‘avoid’ costly disappointment please make sure that you ask every other builder about any hidden ‘extra costs’ that may arise after you have signed a contract with them.

Items to keep an eye out for include:

• Possible hidden costs
• Variations for footing ‘allowances’
• Back-filled sites requiring extra footing or piers
• Services to your block (sewer, power etc…)
• Increases in Government charges
• Unforseen excavation of rock
• Unstable soil
• Removal of surplus soil
• Engineer’s of Council requirements

The Fixed Price Guarantee was released by Rossdale Homes in 1996, under the concept that the only way the price of the home can be increased is if the home-buyer makes changes to the fittings or design.  With a Rossdale contract, people know exactly how much the home will cost them at the time of signing which of course provides you with the ability to work out and budget for your home loan repayments, secure in the knowledge that nothing will change. This puts the onus on us to get it right the first time and provides you with additional security.
